Privacy and cookies
This is a test site for the Calm Consent runtime. It has no accounts, forms, or newsletter. The only data it collects is what the services below collect, and only with your permission.
What we store and why
| Service | Category | Stored on your device |
|---|---|---|
| Your consent choice (Calm Consent) | Necessary | cc_consent cookie, 180 days |
| Remembered colour theme | Preferences | cc-test-theme in local storage |
| Google Maps | Preferences | Cookies on Google's domains, when the map loads |
| Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | _ga and _ga_* cookies, up to two years |
| YouTube | Marketing | Cookies and local storage on YouTube's domains, when a video loads |
Where it goes
This site is hosted on our own server at Hetzner in Germany. The consent runtime is served
from our CDN at cdn.calmconsent.com (bunny.net, EU). Both receive your IP
address in order to deliver the files. Your choice is sent as a receipt to
api.calmconsent.com so that it can be documented; the receipt holds your
choice, a random identifier, and the time, not your IP address. Google processes the data
its services collect under
Google's privacy policy.
Withdrawing consent
Open the cookie settings from the button above or the link at the foot of every page, turn a category off, and save. The page reloads, and the services in that category stop. We remove the cookies we can reach; cookies that Google set on its own domains can only be removed in your browser's settings.
